If Evidence for Global Warming Were Conclusive, I Would Waste No Time Supporting It: Therefore, Seeing as how the evidence is NOT forthcoming, and in fact contrary, why are so many people in Extreme vocal opposition AGAINST me?
125,000 years ago, the global temperature was 5 degrees Celsius warmer than it is now. There was still plenty of ice in Greenland. (We know because of ice cores.) Polar bears did not become extinct. Nor did penguins.

Im not quite sure what I’m doing. Hell I ain’t even sure who i am anymore. But I’m happy, well, happier than i’ve been since.. well awhile. I’ll leave it at that. You see there’s this person, and I’d do anything for this girl. Sometimes, i think it’s in vain. Sometimes i question why, and even more i question if she’s not just keeping me around for her own reasons. But at the end of the day, its worth it, She get’s me unlike anyone else. I do things, i wouldn’t normally do. I get something out of it, even if its not what i really want from her or even expected at all. It just feels right, sometimes noble, sometimes out of control, and even painful but in every kind of right way and i love it.
Single’s Awareness day did not go according to plan, i actually think we burned it and threw it out the window. It turned out to be an amazing day.

It seems to me the best moments of my life come from things going wrong and then making the best of them. (Except business) Usually its with this beautiful damsel. I’m actually me, I’m in a state of mind that im comfortable in, just winging things. Just living. Just ALIVE and i wouldn’t trade that for the world(besides its mine anyway).
Saw Phantom tonight; really, really enjoyed it. Unfortunately she did not feel so well and i forgot the tickets at first. I couldn’t finish it with her but it still doesn’t lessen the fact that it was good times.
It’s the first time in awhile i wanted to write to ensure the memory. i am exhausted, and i am going to bed. and im going to bed happy.
The past few months have been a constant rollercoaster. Business has suffered from the economy, and I have had to try harder and harder to get customers to come in and to get people to buy time. But things are again starting to look up. New phone for me, starting to miss the iphone screen and OS, but i need my copy/paste and to actually be able to use my phone as a phone so i’ll manage.
Onto the more personal side of things, I’m not sure what the hell I’m doing or why i am doing it, but it’s never lead me in an unmanageable direction and well, it’s always been fun. But then there’s this fear.. holding me back from other things. So I’m torn, i guess I’ll just drive myself deeper into work.
It took about a month to finalize, but Sin City PC is no longer the business. Sin City PC is a dba, for 8wire, LLC. I decided a few months ago that the LAN Center and the PC Repair Side of things needed to be separate. Not to the point of not together. The business as it is would never have survived if we focused on one and one alone. BUT, I came to the realization that having this two VERY VERY different businesses operating, and more specifically Marketed together, it was doing more harm than good.
For Example: A Customer needing Computer Repair searches online for a Las Vegas Computer Repair Shop. Before, that customer was brought to a website (sincitypc.com) which main focus was on the LAN Gaming side, because for the most part, the people visiting our site were interested in the cybercafe side, and a small portion were there for Computer Repair. If i put myself in their shoes, i could see that i might have been turned away from what i saw, and or thought that “Oh this isn’t a computer repair store” and went on down the List of Results. So now it has changed.

I’ve been in talks recently with a guy named Chris Magee. He is all the way over in the UK, and has a thick, i believe, Irish accent. So therein lies my problem.. Time exchange…. what 8 hour difference i think? So early morning phone calls. and well, try to have a conversation with someone with a big accent, over skype, with the delay for sound. Fun Stuff!
Actually it really is, Chris is the owner of i think 11 lan centers in the UK. Gametheworld, his company, has some software and well Chris has some great advice about the industry. Its good to actually talk to someone in this industry who actually is business oriented, and has been successful. It’s pretty rare to come by in my experience.
The main thing to peak my interest was his Fusionstats software. Basically it is a plugin for Smartlaunch(the management software we use for LAN) that allows customers to be stated while playing games. Not such a big deal you say? Well, this is whats cool about it, It stats players based on their Smartlaunch logins. Unlike all the other stating programs out there, It doesn’t matter what PC they play on, what Steam ID they use, or even what name they choose in the game server AND it does it across multiple games. You see, Gamers LOVE stats. He also has a few other things, with automatic text messaging, and other management software.
Chris is wanting to get it distributed in the USA and I am working with iGames and GTW to see how beneficial it would be for us and other centers in the states. So its been alot of fun, Call of Duty 4 is working, but the main one CS:Source has not yet. Once chris gets me an updated Plugin, i think we will be good to go! It’s odd to think, with not only this, but other things like KODE5, cgs, XFX, and Gamers Tour how influential and global each center is. I have, and i think most other center owners have always pushed towards marketing to locals, and keeping things local. If I haven’t broadened my horizons with this and many other things in the past, It would be like the stoneage compared to where we are now.
Happy now? Hope so…. Last night, or the night before now, things were brought up about writing this blog again among some other very good conversations with very good people. Some of the best people i know in fact. The night concluded with a very outspoken and abrupt closing. But! whats life without stuff like that? boring
